Best Wings in Norfolk

A.W. Shucks

On a normal day we would suggest A.W. Shucks for their seafood and raw bar, but today we’re going to persuade you to try their wings. Buffalo and Chipotle wings are classics, but promise us you will at least try the Old Bay wings! Born along the Chesapeake Bay, Old Bay is a true southern flavor. This 18 spice & herb blend pairs perfectly with seafood, and now in this case chicken.

Dirty Buffalo

Buffalo, NY residents relocated to the great city of Norfolk and opened Dirty Buffalo bringing their ever-famous, you guessed it, Buffalo wing recipe with them. Dirty Buffalo offers multiple flavors and has a heat index ranging from no spice to holy moly where’s the milk.  Best time to go? Wednesdays. Every Wednesday night they have wings for only 65 cents.

My Mama’s Kitchen

Made to order, these Mama’s Kitchen wings are heavenly.  A local favorite flavor is their garlic parmesan wings but really you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Using only the best recipes, My Mama’s Kitchen placed first for “Best Original Wing” in the 2018 War of the Wings yearly event at Norfolk’s Waterside District.

Orapax

Voted “Best Hot Wing” at War of the Wings, Orapax offers classic Buffalo, Teriyaki, Sriracha Glaze, Spicy Bourbon and Honey Hot. Their specialty Greek-inspired wing is called Pegasus, char- boiled and spiced with Greek herbs served with a side of tzatziki.

Peck & Pour

Order wings by the platter! With over 8 flavors to choose from and a great selection of beers, this is an awesome place to catch up with friends or watch your favorite sports game.
