What is the best time to visit Norfolk, VA?

Honestly, there isn’t a bad time to visit Norfolk. Warm springs and falls make exploring the outdoors enjoyable, while hot summers make for the perfect beach vacation. Norfolk has mild winters so frost bitten noises are never an option.

What’s the weather like in Norfolk, VA?

Most days in Norfolk are warm, with an average annual high temperature of 68 degrees and an average annual low temperature of 51 degrees.

How far is the airport from downtown?

About a 20 min car ride.

Are Norfolk’s beaches pet-friendly?

Yes, but they need to be leashed at all times and are not allowed on beaches from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seasonally, beginning the Saturday before Memorial Day through Labor Day.
